  13. Starting about two weeks ago, my home system, a P90 using a USR 14.4 
  14. internal Sportster, for a SLIP link,  started getting disconnected after 
  15. a short period, like 15-45 minutes.

  17. The relevant info on the modem is:

  19.    Supervisor date 04/21/94
  20.    DSP date        04/20/94

  22.    Supervisor rev  4.1
  23.    DSP rev         10

  25. The modem phone line was installed last January by SWBT. Nothing else is
  26. on the modem line, except the USR 14.4 internal Sportster. This is the first
  27. problem since then.

  29. The software on the PC is Trumpet 2.0B.

  31. When the SLIP link is dropped, I use ATI6 to interrogate the reason. There
  32. are the list of reasons to-date, some of which don't occur in the 
  33. Sportster manual downloaded from USR's FTP site:

  35.   o Disconnect Reason is Loss of Carrier
  36.  
  37.   o Disconnect Reason is Unable to Retrain
  38.  
  39.   o Disconnect Reason is Illegal Command Code      ??
  40.  
  41.   o Disconnect Reason is Loop loss disconnect      ??
  42.  
  43. What do the last two mean ?
